  • Live in the Movement Therapy combines physical activity with talk therapy to address the mental health needs of female adolescents and young adults. We focus on the holistic development of our clients by enhancing their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, taking advantage of the brain's plasticity during adolescence and young adulthood.

  • Our services are specially designed for female teens and young adults who are navigating the complexities of adolescence and young adulthood. We address a range of issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, childhood trauma, life transitions, identity crises, stress, relationship issues, OCD, grief, self-esteem, and overall wellness. We also have specific programs geared towards the specific challenges that college students face.

  • Each therapy session is tailored to the needs of our female clients, combining talk therapy with physical activities such as walking, yoga, or other client-preferred exercises. Sessions are held outdoors, weather permitting, and last 50 minutes.  For those who prefer a more private setting, we also offer indoor sessions at our conveniently located office in Patchogue, NY which includes two walking pads to maintain the connection between mind and body. Additionally, we provide virtual sessions that incorporate ten minutes of meditation.

  • A standard one-on-one session costs $140 for 50 minutes.

  • Chloe Milani is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University. She is licensed in New York, having previously been licensed in Hawaii and California, and has been practicing social work since 2015, specializing in working with adolescents.   • Unlike traditional talk therapy that occurs in a static office environment, Chloe’s sessions incorporate movement and are conducted outdoors, providing a dynamic and integrative therapeutic experience that leverages the benefits of physical activity alongside mental health counseling.

  • No, choosing an active lifestyle through our therapy does not require you to be a fitness fanatic. Activities range from walking to yoga and are adapted to fit your comfort level and interests.
